I was playing Lode Runner on an emulator today and remembering how much fun it was on my Apple 2e.

I know a few people, including myself, have put this on a wishlist for XBLA. But then I see the following line in the Wikipedia entry for Lode Runner:

"Lode Runner is expected to be released on the Xbox Live Arcade, as hinted by Ross Erickson, portfolio manager for Xbox Live Arcade."

I hadn't seen that anywhere else, nor do I take Wikipedia as gospel.

Has anyone else seen Lode Runner mentioned as a realistic XBLA game?

How comes every time someone mentions this game I picture somebody running to the bathroom?

Holy crap I have so many awesome memories from playing Lode Runner: The Legend Returns.. I've never played the original, but hearing this makes me giddy!

I haven't heard anything up until now, but hopefully more news will surface soon..
